The Amphibian "250" Black Shark is a diving watch with a strong identity.
The lines of the Amphibian "250" Black Shark are distinguished at first glance by the profile of the 40mm case, by the unidirectional bezel with reverse and thanks to the sandwich dial with the so-called "oversized" cardinal points.

A unique dial
The dial of the Amphian “250” Black Shark stands out with its four so-called “oversized” cardinal points, which are the very signature of this watch.
The indexes add relief and depth to the dial because they are integrated in a “sandwich” fashion.
These indexes are also adorned with a red color reminder at their ends, the red being there to emphasize the sporty aspect of the piece.
Je ne vais récupérer ma montre que dans quelques semaines; toutefois , l'amie qui l'a réceptionnée m'a fait part du sérieux de la livraison , avec signature et respect des délais indiqués. C'est un bon point avant même la montre en elle même. Les photos reçues correspondent bien à la commande. Les 4 étoiles (sur 5)indiquées en évaluation concernent le bracelet sable: je suis un peu surpris de cette couleur et j'aurais préféré de loin , en deuxième bracelet, celui en métal, quitte à payer l'ensemble un peu plus.
J'adore cette montre avec le cadran blanc cassé , particulièrement configurée avec le bracelet tropical crème. Magnifique. Montre en 40mm (qui pourrait paraître grosse) mais avec des cornes assez courtes et cette lunette large donne un bel équilibre, ce qui lui va très bien.
On m'a énormément complimenté et questionné à son propos.

I am completely satisfied with my new ESKA Amphibian 250. I am a private charter boat captain based in the United States Virgin Islands and I wear a dive watch every single day. My watches go in the sea with me several times a week so I only consider robust dive watches as I need a real tool watch that can take whatever I throw at it.
This watch was worth every single dollar/euro I sent to Eska. I buy 3-5 watches a year. I must say that the fit, finish and design are all consistent with much more expensive watch of $2500-5,000 usd. I currently own dive watches from Rolex, Tudor, Ocean Crawler, Yema, Helm and Squale (all but one cost more than the ESKA) and I have also owned many others. This Eska White Shark is my favorite by a wide margin over any watch I have owned or even tried on.
I had a difficult time locating an English language review of the watch, but with the help of google translate and using my own judgement based on owning many dive watches over the years I decided to give Eska a try. This turned out to be an excellent decision!
If I could only wear one watch for the next five years, it would definitely be this watch. This is the best looking watch I currently own by a long shot. I bought it with the idea that if I did not love it in person, then I would simply send it back to the Company or wear it for awhile and then sell it on Chrono 24. Well, that was not necessary. This watch is always going to be in my possession as long as I present. Sometimes people call an amazing car a “dead guy car”, meaning this car is only ever going to changing hands if the guy who owns it dies. This is definitely a “dead guy watch” for me. Lets hope I live a long life so I can enjoy its beauty and utility!
