It's hard to leave Jean-Louis Maier, who has so many stories to tell, but time flies, and we're met by Christophe Chevreton and Sinicha Knezevic. It's to these two watchmaking enthusiasts that we owe the rebirth of the Eska brand. Founded in Switzerland in 1918 by Sylvan Kocher (whose initials "SK" are pronounced "Eska" and, incidentally, are also those of Sinicha), the manufacturer made a name for itself after the war, renowned for its three-hand watches, its models with cloisonné enamel dials, and its diving watches.
