A UNIQUE DIAL
The dial of the Amphibian 250 "Black Sea" stands out with its four so-called " oversized " cardinal points, which are the very signature of this watch.
The indexes add relief and depth to the dial because they are integrated in a “ sandwich ” fashion.
These indexes are also decorated with a red color reminder at their ends, red being there to support the sporty aspect of the piece but also because it is the color which represents life .
The color of the indexes and the typography of the dial echoes the color of the patinated radium found on the original.
A “COIN EDGE” GLASS
One of the specific features of the Amphibian 250 is its bezel, which emphasizes the very unique style of the watch.
It first catches the eye with its width and the reflection of the sapphire disc , then with its so-called “ backward ” graduation . This detail reminds us to what extent the watch was intended to be a pioneer in its design.
This bezel is also characterized by a so-called “ coin edge ” which resembles a coin.
